About the Role
As a Trainee Audio Visual Technician, you will work alongside experienced technicians to support the setup, operation, and pack down of events. You will learn on the job while gaining exposure to a wide range of event types and technical systems.
Your duties will include:
* Assisting with setup and pack down of audiovisual equipment
* Supporting live events under supervision
* Learning audio, vision, lighting, and staging fundamentals
* Working as part of a team in a fast paced environment
* Interacting professionally with clients and venue staff
No prior audiovisual experience is required. Full training and mentoring will be provided.
About You
* Have a genuine interest in live events, technology, or production
* Are reliable, motivated, and keen to learn
* Enjoy hands on work and being part of a team
* Communicate well and take direction
* Can work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, and weekends
Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or technical roles is helpful but not essential.
