We are currently recruiting an experienced Environmental Advisor for our Tier 1 client; this will be based in Perth. 9-month contract initially with possibility of extension.

Position Details:
Key responsibilities:
* Deliver environmental approvals that are aligned with business objectives
* Conduct environmental impact assessments of the company’s sites and projects
* Preparation and submission of the company’s Environmental Approval applications
* Provide environmental approvals advice including approvals strategies, project management and management of environmental studies for approvals purposes
* Communication of the company’s environmental approvals internally
* Conduct site visits, as required
Qualifications/Experience:
* A relevant Degree in Environmental Science, or equivalent
* 2+ years’ experience in an environmental role within the resources industry or an associated government department
* Demonstrated advanced knowledge and understanding of State and Federal environmental legislation
* Advanced reporting writing, interpersonal and communications skills
* A strong understanding of Microsoft software applications is required
* Experience in using GIS software is desirable
* Knowledge and understanding of the Pilbara environment is desirable
If you are successful for this position you will need to provide a current national police clearance and pass a medical.
Must have full rights to work in Australia.
