I am partnered with a Federal Government Agency to recruit an APS6 Risk Advisor for a full-time temporary assignment for a 6 month contract.
Your new role
As an APS6 Risk Advisor, you will work under limited direction to undertake complex and rewarding work that supports the strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Facilitate risk discussions and reviews with risk owners
* Analyse trends to mitigate risks and harness opportunities, including developing risk treatment plans.
* Support the delivery of risk management training and education programs.
* Maintain collaborative relationships with internal risk and assurance teams to manage shared risks.
* Contribute to risk reporting for Service Delivery stakeholders.
* Provide administrative support for the Integrated Risk Management System (IRMS).
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful as the APS6 Risk Advisor you will be a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset. You will bring demonstrated experience in risk management, including the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks effectively. Your capability to facilitate risk-related workshops and apply risk frameworks to manage incidents and issues within a complex organisational environment will be essential.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in risk management and workshop facilitation.
* Strong understanding of risk frameworks and their practical application.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
* Experience in preparing and delivering comprehensive risk reports to stakeholders.
* Previous experience within government or the disability sector is highly desirable.
* Hold a valid NDIS Worker Screening Check or be willing to obtain one if successful.
* Australian Citizenship is required to progress with this role.
