What we're looking for:
We're seeking an experienced Estimator with solid construction experience to join our dynamic growing team. Based at our Belmont Office, this role is pivotal in shaping our exciting new projects from the ground up.
On a daily basis, you will be required to:
* Be proactive and show initiative in a dynamic work environment.
* Proactively lead all estimating and pricing activities from developing cost-effective plans to sustainable schedules.
* Identify and mitigate project risks and roadblocks.
* Manage, review and finalise the tender process for your projects.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to scope and deliver a seamless and sustainable solution.
* Build trust with our clients, project team and supplier/subcontractor market.
* Develop high quality internal records, registers and reports.
* Stay at the forefront of market developments and industry trends.
* Work closely with a small team to support successful project delivery.
What you will bring to the company:
* A minimum 5 years' demonstrated experience in a similar estimating role, preferably in the construction industry.
* Proficiency in using construction management software (Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite, solid knowledge of Excel.
* Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Construction Estimating & Risk Management, or a related discipline (highly desirable).
* Proven multi-skilled ability to deliver timely project results
* Willingness to travel to project sites and other locations as required.
