Contract opportunity for NSW English teachers to conduct a Senior English Alignment Audit for Education Perfect.
Client/Role: Education Perfect – Contract Chance for NSW English Teachers - Senior English Alignment Audit.
The role requires two highly experienced New South Wales Senior English teachers to audit existing Education Perfect content to ensure it aligns with the English outcomes for the new Senior (11-12) syllabuses for English Standard and English Advanced (2024).
Responsibilities
- Carefully examine each EP lesson and align it to the appropriate outcome/s from the most recent English syllabus
- Organise the existing content into a folder structure that makes resources accessible to teachers
- Assess the percentage coverage for each focus area
- Recommend any adaptations to existing lessons and/or identify any new lessons that may need to be built due to changes in the study design
Important note
This position does not include the creation of any content.
Work arrangement
This role offers the flexibility of remote work, using Google Applications (Docs and Sheets). You will have the freedom to manage your time and work independently.
Work is expected to take approximately 20 hours to complete (in total) and must be delivered within 4 weeks of the agreed start date. A further 2 weeks may be required to apply feedback and address any questions. Upon successful completion, a payment of $1000 AUD will be made.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience teaching Year 11 and 12 English in New South Wales, specifically following the syllabus for English Standard or English Advanced
- An understanding of the curriculum changes in the most recent NSW Year 11-12 English syllabuses (2024)
- Experience in analysing curriculum documents and content resources
- Proficiency in Google Docs and Sheets
- Ability to work independently and adhere to a strict timeline
- Experience using Education Perfect in the classroom is preferred
