We are currently looking to engage an experienced Strategic Asset Manager (ideally based in Karratha or surrounds) to lead the procurement and full lifecycle management of our mobile plant fleet, consisting of over 150 critical assets.
Reporting to the COO, this role will combine technical leadership, asset strategy and operational support to ensure the safe and cost-effective, strategic management of our fleet.

Key functions of the role:
* Lead and optimise the performance of a 150+ items of our current and future mobile plant fleet, including:
o Crushing and screening Equipment
o Civil and bulk earthmoving equipment
o LV's and Electric vehicles
* Manage asset lifecycle, utilisation, and procurement strategy
* Reduce breakdowns through strong data management from reliability and condition monitoring practices
* Manage budgets, forecasting, repairs, and whole-of-life cost planning
* Support site operations with technical troubleshooting and rapid decision-making
* Build strong relationships with OEMs, suppliers, and client representatives
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes
What will set you up for success:
* Experience managing fleets of 100+ pieces of plant in mining or civil contracting
* Strong mechanical understanding of mobile crushing, heavy earthmoving and ancillary equipment
* Experience in maintenance planning, asset management systems, and cost control
* Proven leadership capability with the ability to build accountable teams
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and commercial awareness
* A safety-first approach and commitment to operational excellence
* Mechanical trade qualification or a mechanical/engineering background is highly regarded
