The role of an OSHC Educator involves assisting in running activities with primary school children such as science experiments, outdoor games, painting and musical activities. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy working with children and making a positive impact on their lives.
As an OSHC Educator, you will be responsible for the care of children and assisting in developing programs that cater to their needs and interests. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the service.

About the Service:
YMCA Gabbinbar Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is based at Gabbinbar State School in Centenary Heights and welcomes all families of the Gabbinbar community.
We operate from 6.30am to 9.00am and 3.00pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday during school terms and Vacation Care operates from 6.30am to 6.00pm during all school holidays.
We offer a wide range of fun, stimulating and appropriate programs that reflect real world experiences and home settings. This helps encourage a sense of community amongst the children, facilitates leadership skill development and allows your child to practice social skills in a supported and caring environment.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or related field
* Current First Aid and CPR certification
* A Positive Notice Blue Card
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
