Our client is a well-established leader in embellishment and print finishing located in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs. Due to business growth, they need additional machine operators.
Ideally they are looking for machine operator to be trained on a range of print finishing equipment, including:
* laminating machines
* foil stamping machines
* embossing machines.
This is an opportunity to work alongside a strong and growing team of print finishing staff. Training will initially be in AM shift (6am - 2pm), before transfer to afternoon shift (2pm - 10pm).
What the job involves
As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for:
* operating print finishing machines (laminating, foil stamping or embossing)
* performing work to a high-quality standard
* working both independently and as part of a team
The person we are looking for
The appropriate candidate will:
* have experience in the sheet fed print industry
* preferably have laminating or die cutting experience (however, full training is available for the right candidate)
* have good basic literacy and numeracy skills
* have a strong work ethic.
