We're looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Melbourne team for a 12-month parental leave cover. What will you be doing?
You'll own the end-to-end recruitment process across diverse functions, building strong partnerships with hiring managers and candidates. Leading sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding efforts, you'll provide valuable market insights to support strategic hiring decisions.
Your contribution will help deliver quality hires efficiently, supporting the business through growth and change. You'll work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth and engaging recruitment experience.
Key responsibilities:
* Proactively identify and engage high-calibre candidates using innovative sourcing methods, with a strong focus on engineering recruitment - especially within the Energy sector.
* Leverage and expand established networks in the Energy and engineering fields to source top talent.
* Collaborate closely with hiring managers to anticipate talent needs and shape recruitment strategies.
* Provide regular recruitment updates to leadership teams, sharing progress, insights, challenges, and recommendations that support workforce planning and decision-making.
* Build and nurture lasting relationships with candidates and stakeholders to develop a strong talent pipeline.
* Provide actionable market insights and talent intelligence that influence hiring decisions.
* Champion diversity and inclusion throughout the recruitment process.
* Leverage recruitment technologies to optimise candidate tracking and improve workflow efficiency.
What we're looking for:
* Proven success as a Senior Recruitment Consultant managing mid to senior level roles, with strong expertise in engineering recruitment, particularly within the Energy sector and established networks in these fields.
* Exceptional relationship-building skills with the confidence to influence and consult across all business levels.
* Strong multitasking ability, delivering results efficiently under pressure.
* Expertise with recruitment technologies and ATS platforms (Workday experience preferred) to streamline hiring processes.
* Sharp commercial awareness combined with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
* Genuine passion for creating outstanding candidate and client experiences that build lasting trust.
