Are you a Product Support Technician / Advisor looking for a new challenge and development in asset management?
We are currently seeking an experienced Drill Fitter to join our team in Mackay.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose, fault‑find, repair and service all aspects of equipment on customer sites.
* Provide high‑level technical support and training to customers.
* Produce defect elimination programs and conduct root cause analysis.
* Work with customer maintenance planning to generate forecasts, task lists and maintenance instructions. Facilitate and complete all product upgrades as required and control the onsite.
* Work with the customer maintenance team on generating, implementing and updating Preventative Maintenance Plans and implement component life extension programs.
* Work with the customer and Epiroc Engineering Team to develop product upgrades to improve availability and reliability of the fleet.
* Develop continuous improvement programs to reduce costs.
* Comply with Epiroc and customer SHEQ requirements.
* Build long‑term, sustainable relationships with customers.
Requirements
* Atlas Copco/Epiroc Drill (Surface and underground) Product Knowledge and experience. Underground Drill experience is highly desirable.
* Heavy Mobile Equipment trade qualification or similar.
* Strong problem‑solving ability and troubleshooting skills.
* Commitment to providing quality customer service.
* Ability to handle and work under pressure.
* Good report‑writing ability.
