The ideal candidate will be a qualified dentist with postgraduate experience in secondary care oral and maxillofacial surgery.
This role involves working closely with consultant colleagues to provide a comprehensive oral surgery service, carrying out common procedures under local anesthesia without supervision.
Key responsibilities include maintaining the delivery of an oral maxillofacial clinic service, contributing to the supervision of junior staff, and participating in clinical teaching within the department.
The successful applicant will join a well-established team within the Maxillofacial Unit, providing a wide range of services including head and neck cancer and orthognathic surgery.
1. Maintaining the delivery of an oral maxillofacial clinic and treatment clinic service;

3. Participating in clinical teaching within the department;
