About the role

We are seeking a friendly, organised and proactive Administration Support / Receptionist to join our team at Maclean Partners.

This is a key front-of-office role and the first point of contact for our clients. You will play an important part in supporting our accounting and advisory teams while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our Townsville office.

What you'll be doing

* Welcoming clients and managing front reception in a professional and friendly manner
* Handling a busy telephone system and incoming emails
* Providing general administrative support including data entry, filing, scanning and correspondence
* Diary and appointment coordination
* Maintaining and updating client records and office systems
* Formatting letters and documents
* Processing invoices, receipts and general office paperwork
* Supporting the wider team as required
* Contributing to efficient office processes and continuous improvement

What we're looking for

* Previous experience in an administration or receptionist role (professional services experience preferred)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
* A proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership of tasks
* Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
* Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office
* Experience with MYOB AE/MPM is an advantage, but not essential
* Knowledge of the accounting industry is beneficial but not required
