Tas City Building, a respected Tasmanian construction company, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our team based in Launceston. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in managing and administering contracts for our construction projects whilst ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities
* Contract Administration: Prepare, review and negotiate contracts for execution ensuring they are clear, comprehensive, and compliant with company policies, legal requirements and project documents. Administer client and subcontractor contracts, monitor milestones, and ensure terms and conditions are satisfied for the successful delivery of projects.
* Variation & Document Management: Handle client and subcontractor variations in line with contract conditions, ensuring all changes are documented, approved and communicated to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner. Maintain project records with accuracy, and ensure the effective distribution of documents to key stakeholders.
* Communication & Dispute Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries from clients, internal teams, subcontractors, and external partners. Facilitate clear and effective communication to ensure smooth project execution. Address contractual disputes, ensuring timely and effective resolution of disputes.
* Procurement Support: Support procurement and tender evaluation processes by assisting with analysing tender documents, and preparing submissions in line with the requirements.
* Compliance & Risk Reporting: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contract terms and conditions, including legal and financial risks. Monitor project performance, and prepare status reports in line with contract and company policy requirements, including financial, quality, environment, and health & safety.
Qualifications & Skills
* Administration experience in the construction industry is valued, though not essential.
* Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines with high attention to detail.
* Efficient in accurate recording and document management.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore or similar project management systems (such as Aconex) is advantageous.
