Our clients are importers and distributors of European and UK brands in the stationery, gift, home, table and Christmas seasonal categories. This is an established and successfully operated family-owned business, operating for over 15 years by its directors and supported by an experienced team of sales professionals.

Their brands are in key retailers like Officeworks, Myer, Whitcoulls NZ, Warehouse NZ, newsagents, grocery, gift and homeware stores across Australia and New Zealand.

As the Sales and Operational Coordinator and reporting to the National Sales Manager and Operations Director, you will provide a high level of support to the sales team, in particular servicing the administrative needs of our relationships with key National retailers. Reporting, submissions and prompt and accurate follow up of Key account business is important. As well as providing exceptional service to independent retail customers.

You have a vibrant and friendly personality, are highly organised with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities / Duties :

* National Sales Team Support : Work closely with Our Key national retailer Account managers to support and administer submissions and new line forms, account reporting meeting retailer requests for information, data, Images etc. help with sales presentation formulation
* Customer Service : respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and friendly manner (misplaced orders, status, errors, damaged deliveries, master data, images)
* Issue resolution : identify and resolve customer issues efficiently, providing timely follow-up to ensure satisfaction
* Documentation : accurately log customer interactions, enquiries, and resolutions in the CRM
* Order & invoice Processing : enter manual orders, ensure orders from all channels are moved to 3PL warehouse promptly. Manage seasonal orders, ensuring these are shipped promptly once stock is available. Ensure invoices are accurate and issued promptly
* Manage the flow of orders : from key national accounts into the EPR system and through to the 3PL also ensuring that the warehouse has all elements available and organised to correctly pick pack and label shipments for dispatch
* Support the independent sales team : with their day-to-day queries regarding products and customers
* Leads management : record leads in the CRM and ensure sales team are aware of new leads in their territory.
* Feedback Collection : gather customer feedback and relay it to the relevant team members for continuous improvement.
* Trade Fair : manage the booking, coordinate set up and execution of the display booth. Assist in preparing samples and materials for sales team and roadshow / trade show events.
* Collaboration : Work closely with team members and 3PL to enhance the customer experience and resolve complex issues
* Reporting : Undertake and distribute recurring (monthly) and any ad-hoc reporting for the business members for continuous improvement

Skills / Attributes

* Friendly phone manner with a high level of customer service with an "I'm here to help" approach is critical.
* Advanced excel skills
* Previous 3+ years' experience working daily within an EPR / accounting software to manage orders, invoices, reporting, inventory enquiries, information input / uploads - ideally MYOB advanced experience, standard MYOB or similar accounting / ERP systems
* High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Previous experience supporting the needs of Field Sales and National Account Management teams
* An understanding of a wholesale to business environment or import exporter environment (highly advantageous)

Work from home flexibility is available and this role is also available in a part time capacity (minimum of four days) for the right candidate.
