Registered Nurse - Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will play a vital role in managing cardiovascular disease, working closely with a skilled team and cutting-edge technology.

About the Role

* You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide variety of heart conditions, performing procedures such as angiograms, angioplasties, pacemaker placements, and stent placements.
* You will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring precise teamwork and quick decision-making to provide compassionate care during high-pressure, life-saving procedures.
* You will have the opportunity for continuous learning, with support from experienced colleagues, in-services, and hospital-based cardiology education.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory
* Work collaboratively with the medical team, including cardiologists and cardiac advanced trainees
* Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements

* Diploma or degree in nursing, preferably with experience in critical care
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
