About the role
Join K&S Freighters as a dependable and safety-focused Local Driver, responsible for the transport of steel, timber, or paper within the local region.
No overnight travel required.
This is a hands-on position that includes manual yard work, with stable day shifts from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Success Profile
MC licence is preferred; HC licence will be considered
You hold a valid forklift licence, with experience in forklift operation
You have an MSIC licence or are willing to obtain
You're reliable, responsible and will approach your working day with a positive attitude
You can follow instructions and communicate effectively
A strong commitment to safety regulations, ensuring the yard and warehouse safety standards are adhered to
You're open to undertaking other ad hoc duties or tasks as they arise
Responsibilities
Complete safe and timely local deliveries of steel, timber, or paper
Carry out manual yard duties as part of daily operations
Support broader operational tasks as required, including warehouse and stock activities
