Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled locomotive driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our trains.
The role involves driving mainline, shunting, and marshalling locomotives, as well as examining and certifying trains for departure. You will also work in accordance with our safety and operational standards and procedures, maintaining a high level of on-time running.
Additionally, you will prepare and conduct brake testing on locomotives, and provide high-quality customer service to enable us to meet our business objectives.
About You
* You must be available to work a 24/7 shift roster, ensuring that we can operate our services at all times.
* Experience in QLD Safeworking System is advantageous, but not essential.
* You will need extensive freight and/or heavy haulage locomotive driving experience, as well as a Certificate IV in Rail Operations.
* A current unrestricted Class C driver's licence is also required.
