The Maintenance & Grounds Officer is responsible for delivering the set actions as instruction by the Maintenance Coordinator. This role ensures that all maintenance and grounds actions are attended and completed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
* Maintenance and Property
* Collaborate with the Maintenance Coordinator on property maintenance.
* Test and calibrate equipment as per the maintenance schedule.
* Maintain Torbay grounds per Environmental Services standards.
* Care for garden beds: spraying, pruning, watering, sweeping, and removing clippings.
* Maintain grassed areas: mowing, edging, weeding, and mulching.
* Service equipment per manufacturer's instructions.
* Maintain positive interactions with residents and stakeholders.
Requirements
* Valid and current Police Certificate.
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally within an Aged Care Facility.
* Demonstrated experience in general repairs and maintenance.
* The ability to comply with the requirements of WHS and safe work practises and related procedures.
* Well-developed written and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work as part of a small team.
* Work cooperatively with the team and as directed by the Hotel Services Manager.
