Position Details
St Mary MacKillop College is committed to providing quality K‐12 Catholic education in the South West region. We are a supportive, caring community with modern facilities designed to engage students and bring learning to life. Ideally commencing Week 7, Term 2, this is an ongoing, full‐time position. A part‐time position of 0.8 FTE would be considered.
As an ATAR Mathematics teacher, you will encourage each student to discover and develop their interests and talents to become the best they can be. You will provide innovative and best‐practice teaching; students will grow and develop lifelong learning attributes. Your role is to plan, organise and deliver educational programmes, modelled within the Catholic Ethos, in a positive learning environment.
Required Qualifications and Experience
* Current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of WA (TRBWA).
* Previous experience teaching ATAR Mathematics is highly desirable.
* Willingness to promote and support the Catholic ethos as a member of the St Mary MacKillop College community, with an ability to demonstrate completion or progress towards accreditation to teach in a Catholic school.
* A current Working with Children Check.
* A valid National Police Criminal History Check.
