We’re seeking an experienced Cost controller Specialist to play a key role in delivering major renewable energy construction projects. Working closely with the Head of Construction, Project Managers and site teams, you’ll act as a trusted commercial partner across the full project lifecycle. This role suits someone who blends strong commercial discipline with clear communication and teamwork, within a genuinely flexible and supportive culture. Responsibilities: Own and manage project Capex and Opex budgets with accuracy and confidence Prepare clear, reliable monthly cost and cashflow reports for internal and external stakeholders Track contractor and supplier payments, progress claims and variations Support Project Managers with cashflow forecasting and financial planning Maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to monitor procurement, delivery and invoicing Collaborate closely with discipline leads to understand progress and resolve issues early Ensure compliance with cost control procedures while continuously improving processes Provide early visibility of risks and cost pressures, enabling proactive decision-making Skills & Experience: Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure or major construction projects (highly regarded) Previous experience in construction project controls or cost management A Project Management Diploma or equivalent qualification Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, cashflow and reporting Experience partnering with construction and delivery teams Excellent communication skills and a highly organised, detail-driven approach Benefits: Work for a leading renewable energy developer with exposure to large-scale, high-impact projects.
