Avanade is growing, and we seek passionate and driven technology professionals to join our Managed Services team delivering continuous value to our client's businesses. We are seeking a Junior Cloud Engineer with a background in Azure Platform infrastructure support As an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer within our Infrastructure practice, you will bring Azure support experience to the technical delivery of enterprise scale solutions into public, hybrid, and secure cloud environments. You will be responsible for working closely with customers to provide a high touch managed services partnership model and ensure a great customer experience. Core to the role Your experience in Managed Services focusing on Azure cloud support, including platform and infrastructure, Identity Management, Azure Active Directory, Monitoring, auditing, and operations is foundational to this role. We also need you to have experience across a variety of technologies that may include: - Azure architecture and implementation, including Azure Active Directory, IaaS and PaaS solutions, Network, Storage, Security and more. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills to clearly explain issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Have familiarity with current Australian Government information assurance requirements, including the Information Security Manual (ISM), NIST CSF2.0 and Essential 8 ML2. And will have experience being responsible for incident response coordination, investigation, and remediation, as well as staying current with the Azure roadmap. Day to day you will be responsible for: - Assess incidents and provide solutions for level 2/3 support requests - Perform root cause analysis and communicate with the necessary teams - Implement change requests according to the change management framework - Conduct day-to-day maintenance and health checks to ensure stability of the environment - Identify improvements as part of BAU work to address recurring issues, close monitoring gaps, and automate/reduce manual work Pivotal to the role is your ability to effectively communicate to technical and non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in written form. Your passion for supporting clients and shaping the ongoing continual improvement of our clients' solutions is what is required for this role About you You are an IT infrastructure and cloud platform support engineer with a track record of support engineering and client focus. You have good communication and interpersonal skills that will enable you to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders and contribute effectively to our Managed Services organisation. You will also possess analytical and problem-solving skills enabling you to be creative and innovative in the support of our clients. You will also seek to continually improve our clients' environments though evergreen practices and platform evolution. You will be required to be an Australian Citizen preferably with an existing security clearance due to client and project requirements Some of the best things about working at Avanade?
