We are seeking a motivated, skilled, and attentive team member who is experienced and holds a genuine interest in civil infrastructure and maintenance. In this position, you will play a key part in the maintenance and improvement of our local infrastructure, parks, streetscapes, and public spaces.
From operating machinery to maintaining parks, gardens and open spaces and responding to community needs, your work will help ensure our town remains safe, functional, and welcoming for residents and visitors alike.
To be successful you will need:
- Knowledge, experience and understanding of civil infrastructure, construction, and maintenance.
- The ability, knowledge, experience, and qualifications to operate a medium rigid (MR) truck as a requirement and preferably experienced/ticketed in either a backhoe, skid steer or excavator.
- An adaptable and positive approach to your work with the ability to operate autonomously and as part of a team coupled with a demonstrated strong work ethic.
- An ability to undertake duties with a sense of optimism and pride that positively represents the reputation of Council to the community.
- An understanding of contemporary Work Health Safety and safe operation procedures.
