Key Responsibilities
* Develop a cross-platform editorial vision that reflects the company's values and music culture more broadly, with a particular strength in youth-driven storytelling.
* Shape a content calendar that includes original reporting, branded campaigns, artist features, fan stories, trend coverage, and culture-first ideas.
* Partner with brand teams to pitch and produce breakthrough branded content that delivers on client goals while remaining true to editorial voice.
* Manage a diverse team of writers, editors, producers, social strategists, and creative contributors, fostering a collaborative environment that values experimentation, speed, and editorial integrity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 7–10 years of experience leading content at a media company, brand studio, or editorial platform, preferably in music, entertainment, or youth culture.
* Proven ability to turn creative vision into a scalable and sustainable editorial operation.
* Strong storytelling chops, with editorial instincts and business savvy to navigate client work.
* Deep understanding of social media, audience trends, and how to build fandom.
* Experience developing branded content that drives results without compromising editorial quality.
* A network of creatives, writers, and contributors in the music and culture space.
* Clear and compelling communication and presentation skills, able to sell ideas internally and externally.
* Affinity for live events, youth culture, and love of music in all forms.
