The AMA Group IT team is a fast-paced and dynamic group of professionals passionate about delivering high quality standards while maintaining focus on costs and simplicity.
This role encompasses incident support, application support, developing new features and updates to support the business, and evaluating system technical requirements. You will be responsible for providing high-quality IT support to a wide range of AMA users across various applications.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting AMA Group within the agreed SLA.
- Log and resolve incidents and requests, managing IT outages and disruptions.
- Set up, configure, and deploy new software and hardware across the group.
- Test, debug, diagnose, and resolve faults related to system software and applications.
- Follow up with internal IT resources, external partners, and vendors involved in resolution to ensure incidents are resolved, requests are fulfilled, and customer communication is complete.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems and develop solutions to enhance operational outcomes in line with SDLC principles.
- Ensure documentation is completed and updated for technical programs, end-user guides, and procedures.
- Manage software deployments, ensuring security, compliance, and proper installation.
- Prioritize and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or application support roles.
- Solid experience with Azure, Office 365, Dynamics 365, or Oracle Netsuite.
- Good working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365.
- Experience coding with common languages such as VB, PowerShell, Java, and Python.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused service mentality.
- Solid troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues swiftly and effectively.
- Ability to analyze and debug code.
- Strong communication skills to establish relationships with stakeholders across all areas of the business.
