About the Role:
We're looking for a dedicated and skilled Sous Chef to be second‑in‑command in our kitchen, supporting our Head Chef in delivering an outstanding dining experience for our residents at Bathurst RiverviewCare Community .

What You'll Do:
* Support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team and managing daily operations.
* Prepare and cook nutritious, high‑quality meals that meet resident dietary needs and preferences.
* Help maintain the highest standards of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and compliance.
* Step up and lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
* Contribute to creating a dining experience that brings joy to our residents.
What You'll Need:
* Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience.
* Experience as a Chef, with some supervisory or leadership exposure.
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* A passion for food and a genuine desire to make a difference in aged care.
* Strong teamwork, communication, and time‑management skills.
* Willingness to complete:
o Pre‑employment medical
o NDIS Worker Screening Check
