We are growing and currently recruiting a driven and experienced Site Engineer with FRP projects to join our team in the Snowy Mountains area of NSW, working on a 2/1 FIFO roster.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide project site engineering services, enabling the project to be delivered safely, profitably and in accordance with the client's contractual, technical and quality requirements.
As the Site Engineer, You will work as Part of a Small Team of Project Engineers and Senior Engineers and Be Accountable For:
* Measure, record & report on progress against program in allocated work packages, highlighting variations/issues & recommending corrective action
* Deliver all required reports on time and attend all required meetings
* Prepare & review internal ITPs, forms & checklists for approval by Client
* Identify & report material &/or workmanship non-conformance & notify the Construction Manager of suspected non-conformance
* Develop & maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders, including client representatives.
* Raise permits required for site works
* Read & understand the scope of work, specifications, work plans and drawings
* Timely inputs into Whittens Project Controls to ensure that data and reporting outputs are published as per Project requirements
To be successful, you will have the following:
* Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Experience working in a FIFO capacity with Civil Contractor experience
* Experience in delivering FRP (Form Reo Pour) projects and/or Tunnel Infrastructure
* Excellent attention to detail
* Self -starter and team player
* Polished written and verbal communication skills
