Job Description
We're seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Gateway Architect. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing secure communication systems for our clients.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Elicit and analyse requirements from stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment with control objectives
* Design configurations and patterns for Guard and Gateway services aligned with defence information exchange requirements
* Support the creation of configuration artefacts, design documentation, and pattern libraries for enterprise and deployed environments
* Maintain requirements traceability and contribute to ISM assessment and authorisation evidence packs
* Implement prototype configurations for design validation, functional testing, and pattern verification
* Contribute to Data-Centric Security policy definition and CDR threat-protection testing
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Strong expertise in Google Distributed Cloud networking and hybrid cloud interconnect architectures
* Deep understanding of Zero-Trust Networking principles and Kubernetes CNI design
* Proficiency integrating COTS firewalls into private cloud and GDC environments
* Experience designing or contributing to Defence-ready Guard and Gateway architectures
* Knowledge of Data-Centric Security aligned to STANAG and ACP 240
* Understanding of CDR technologies as threat-protection mechanisms
