You'll manage test strategy and execution across multiple concurrent enterprise projects, working with HR, payroll, and workforce planning teams. You'll lead up to 5 direct test analysts plus 20+ cross-functional team members through complex system implementations and BAU releases.
You'll work hybrid with 2 days in the Sydney office, giving you flexibility while staying connected to stakeholders. The company uses established tools like Jira, Zephyr, and Confluence, so you won't waste time learning proprietary systems. You'll have real decision-making authority within agreed scope and direct access to executive leadership for reporting and escalation.
This is a senior role where your expertise shapes testing frameworks across the organisation. You'll facilitate workshops, train teams, and build the quality community of practice. The environment values pragmatic solutions over perfectionism, and you'll work with major vendors like ADP, Oracle, and TCS who respond when you need support.
What You'll Do
* Develop test strategies and frameworks for large-scale HR, payroll, and workforce planning system implementations
* Manage stakeholder relationships across business, technology, and vendor teams to align testing with release schedules
* Provide executive reporting on test progress, defects, risks, and go-live readiness to steering committees
* Lead BAU release support including formal change acceptance and hypercare period vendor partnerships
What You'll Need
* 10+ years test leadership experience with 7+ years managing complex enterprise programs across multiple concurrent projects
* 7+ years leading testing for HR, payroll, time and attendance, or ERP system implementations
* Expertise with Jira, Zephyr, automated testing tools, and both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
* 7+ years managing and coaching test teams in matrix structures
