High Voltage Electrician - Cable Jointing Specialist
Location: Central Brisbane

Pay Rate: $50-$57 per hour (depending on experience)
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrician to join our team in a permanent role, based in central Brisbane. You'll be working on high voltage electrical works, with a strong focus on cable jointing. This is a hands-on role where quality, safety, and technical proficiency are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high voltage cable jointing and terminations to a high standard
- Install, maintain, and repair high voltage cable systems
- Troubleshoot issues in high voltage networks
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams, cable layouts, and technical specifications
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, regulations, and best industry practices
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain accurate records of tasks, inspections, and any defects or reworks required
Key Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in high voltage cable jointing and terminations
- Strong understanding of HV electrical systems, safety protocols, and regulations
- Relevant electrical qualifications and licences
- Ability to read electrical schematics and work autonomously
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
