Salary : $75,000 – $80,000 per annum (plus super)
SP Auto Care is seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic (General) to join our busy auto repair and service centre on a full-time basis. We are looking for a skilled technician who can deliver high-quality mechanical servicing, diagnostics, and repairs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts
* Inspecting vehicles, conducting test drives, and performing routine servicing and maintenance
* Repairing and replacing worn or faulty parts including brakes, engines, suspension, steering, and transmissions
* Performing engine tune-ups and adjustments to enhance vehicle performance
* Overhauling engines and associated mechanical components
* Testing, repairing, and replacing electrical systems and components
* Using diagnostic equipment to identify issues and ensure accurate repairs
* Ensuring all work meets safety standards and manufacturer specifications
* Maintaining service records, job cards, and workshop documentation
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Motor Mechanic
* Compulsory qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Full-time availability
