We are seeking for a dynamic bookkeeper to join our client office and be a pivotal part of their finance team.

Our client is a one of the biggest sporting equipment retailers and wholesalers in Western Sydney.
**Your new role**
This role will also support the Account Team Leader with day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring the smooth running of the business financially.
**Key accountabilities**:
- Daily reconciliation of bank statements, investigating the difference and resolving any discrepancies
- Accounts payable & accounts receivable, including international transactions
- Accounts receivables, raise & process invoices as requested
- BAS & G ST preparation
- Budget, expenses, and cash flow
- Queueing payments to be made
- Management of weekly payroll; process time sheets for all contractors including hourly and piece rate workers
- Month end reports; assisting with monthly reporting
- Coordination of the fleet of vehicles including toll payment, service and repair coordination and insurance
- Other jobs as assigned by the manager
**What you'll need to succeed**
**Essential experience**
- Mandarin speaking preferred
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting or a combination of relevant training and experience.
- At least 2 years of experience as an accounts assistant / bookkeeper in a similar busy environment.
- Experience using accounting software
- XERO
- Excel Skills - Understanding and hands-on experience using Excel including Intermediate formulas, V-LOOKUP and Pivot-table
- Willing nature, happy to assist with various elements of the office - this is a true team effort
- Exceptional organisational skills - you are focused, reliable, methodical, and meticulous
- Exceptional time management skills & the ability to multitask
- Positive, friendly, and self-motivated nature
