Makita is a global leader in professional power tools and industrial solutions. We're looking for a driven Senior Business Development Representative (Industrial) to grow market share, mentor team members, and build strong relationships with key industrial end users across Central & North Queensland.
This is a senior, hands-on role where you'll influence purchasing decisions, lead by example in the field, and play a key role in driving business growth.

What You'll Do
* Lead business development activity with top-tier industrial end users to drive sales growth and market share
* Mentor and support Business Development Representatives in the field while guiding daily activity aligned with business goals
* Deliver product demonstrations, launches, and training programs to customers (including Makita Masters sessions)
* Build strong long-term relationships with dealers and end users while providing outstanding customer service
* Gather market intelligence, product feedback, and competitor insights to support strategic planning and reporting

What We're Looking For
* Strong experience in industrial sales, business development, or technical field sales
* Proven ability to manage major clients and grow territories
* Experience mentoring or leading others
* Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, travel-focused role across regional QLD
