Principal Consultant – Salesforce & Integration
Hybrid (Can be fully remote from AUS)
I've partnered with an AI technology‐led organisation undertaking a significant re‐platforming programme to support their growing financial services client base.
This is a hands‐on Principal Engineer role for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering problems and leading from the front. The role combines strong architectural thinking with deep hands‐on execution.
Responsibilities
* Lead a large‐scale platform migration from a Python‐based environment to Node.js
* Design and build migration tooling, workflows, and supporting frameworks
* Work extensively with distributed application systems
* Reverse‐engineer existing platform behaviour where documentation is limited
* Define and evolve current‐state to future‐state application architecture
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship through complex engineering challenges
Qualifications
* Principal Engineer with experience leading platform or re‐platforming migrations
* Strong Node.js experience, or a technology‐agnostic engineer able to transition quickly
* Proven experience designing and building distributed systems at the application layer
* Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with minimal documentationStrong software design and problem‐solving capability
* Strong skills in Software Architecture
