Typhoon Project Services are preparing for a substantial amount of preparatory work and a subsequent major shutdown in the coming months. We are currently seeking skilled, Welders, Boilermakers, Fitters and Riggers to join our team and contribute to the successful execution of these critical tasks.
Immediate start with work until mid December and potentially longer for the right candidates.

Qualifications & experience
* Welders must undergo and pass a custom weld test to prove ability.
* Welders must be proficient in 6G welding. (Piping Stainless and Carbon steel - TIG and MIG).
* Boilermakers must have trade certificate and experience in the role. Proficient in tasks including thermal cutting, basic welding, fabrication and the ability to read and understand engineering drawings and piping isometrics.
* White Card (Construction Induction).
* Must be able to pass pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening.
* Working at heights and confined space training is a requirement.
* Previous Mining or Heavy Industry experience.
* Elevated Work Platform, Rigger and Forklift HRWL highly desirable.
* Respirator site - all employees to be clean shaven (mustache allowed).
Tasks & responsibilities
* Structural fabrication and welding (both workshop and on site).
* Pipe fitting and welding (both workshop and on site).
* Construction and installation.
* Demolition works.
* Work effectively in a team environment to achieve project goals and deadlines.
* Welders to carry out complex welds using 6G techniques.
* Remain fit for work - including being clean shaven daily (respirator site).
* Ability to adhere to stringent WHS policies and procedures.
