Downer Rail and Transit Systems (RTS) is seeking a motivated Procurement Delivery Manager to join our high-performing Procurement & Supply-Chain team. Opportunity
As the Procurement Delivery Manager, you will:
* Work closely with engineering, delivery and commercial teams to align procurement strategies with project needs.
* Lead procurement planning and execution in support of critical TLS activities ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
* Build and nurture relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Identify and implement procurement process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
* Participate in strategic planning and workshops to align procurement activities with broader business objectives.
* Drive supplier performance, contract management, and risk mitigation.
About you

Qualifications and Experience
For Experienced Procurement Managers: 5+ years in procurement, supply chain, or commercial roles (rail, infrastructure, engineering, or manufacturing preferred). Proven track record in supplier negotiations, contract management, and project delivery. Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
For Aspiring Procurement Professionals: Solid experience in engineering, operations, project management, or commercial roles. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, solve problems, and influence outcomes. Eagerness to learn procurement best practices and develop new skills.
Desirable
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Commerce, etc.).
* Professional certifications (CIPS, MCIPS, CPP/CPPM, APICS, or equivalent) are a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word/Outlook/Power BI).
