About the Position: The Cook position at Crazy Pig Pty Ltd is integral to the successful operation of Yumko Korean Restaurant. This role involves the preparation and cooking of a diverse range of authentic Korean dishes to the highest standards, contributing to the efficient running of the kitchen and ensuring consistent delivery of quality meals to our customers. As a key member of the kitchen team, the Cook plays a vital part in upholding the restaurant’s reputation for excellence in Korean cuisine and maintaining smooth service during peak periods. Key Responsibilities: Setting up workstations and operating kitchen equipment efficiently Measuring and weighing ingredients accurately according to recipes Following recipes and set menus to prepare dishes consistently Deep frying, pan frying, steaming or boiling meat, vegetables and other foods Presenting and garnishing dishes to create appealing final products Adhering to kitchen hygiene and safety standards at all times Maintaining a clean and organised workspace throughout the shift Monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages Keeping up to date with cooking techniques and methods relevant to Korean cuisine Requirements: Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
