About the Role
An exciting opportunity for Operations & Maintenance (O&M;) Manager to join the Energy team. In this role, you’ll lead the delivery of O&M; services across renewable energy projects and support the early-stage development and pricing for EPC bids. Your work will be pivotal in ensuring asset performance, reliability, and safety, while collaborating across teams and with external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations and maintenance of solar farms to ensure compliance with performance targets and contractual obligations.
- Oversee and enforce safety procedures, with a strong emphasis on preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
- Develop and manage subcontract agreements, define operational budgets, and ensure services are delivered within financial parameters.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients and site stakeholders, providing timely updates and reports.
- Collaborate closely with teams across contracts, safety, engineering, and finance to support seamless project delivery.
- Manage subcontractor performance, from reviewing scopes of work and proposals to ensuring complete documentation at project close-out.
- Assist in the transition of projects from development to delivery, providing hands-on support throughout implementation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Asset management experience in renewable energy projects
- Good understanding of regulatory & compliance requirements
- Ability to manage tendering/contracting process to select O&M; contractors
- Contract management experience valuable
