* Temporary, Clerk Grade 5/6 opportunity ($99,938–$110,271 base per annum), until 5 February 2027.
* Based in Martin Place, Sydney with flexible work supported.
About the role
As a Project Support Officer, you will provide administrative and project support to workforce planning initiatives aligned with whole‑of‑government priorities. Working in a fast‑paced environment, you will support delivery by coordinating activities, tracking milestones, preparing briefs and reports, and maintaining accurate documentation.
You'll contribute to initiatives such as the rollout of a new applicant tracking system and delivery of the NSW Government Graduate Program assessment process. The role also involves supporting communications and stakeholder engagement with students, graduates, and key partners.
This role is currently being offered as a Temporary employment opportunity until 5 February 2027, with the potential to be extended or convert to ongoing.
You will join the Emerging Talent team within the Workforce Planning Branch, People & Workforce Group.
Key responsibilities
* Provide project and administrative support across multiple initiatives
* Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, minutes, and follow‑up actions
* Track milestones and support reporting against delivery timeframes
* Prepare briefs, reports, and correspondence for a range of stakeholders
* Maintain accurate records, documentation, and digital systems
* Support communications and stakeholder engagement activities
