The Opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia is looking for an enthusiastic Planning and Scheduling Specialist to support the Battlespace Communications Program Team located in. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the broader Integrated Planning & Scheduling team who support a range of complex programs based across our national business.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Create, Develop and Maintain complex integrated project plans and detailed schedules to meet program and/or project requirements.
- Gain schedule status updates from control account managers, create reporting metrics and actively manage baseline change activities across the lifecycle of a program.
- Analyse and report on project performance variances and incorporate recovery plans.
**Experience/Qualifications**:
- Strong negotiation, communication and organizational skills,
- Experience in Project Management or Project Scheduling/Earned Value/Performance Management Systems in a commercial workplace,
- Understanding of critical path analysis
- Ability to tailor information and data for presentation to various stakeholders and levels of management
- Prior experience with Open Plan Professional (OPP), Cobra and the Defence Industry will be advantageous but not critical
- Must be an Australian citizen to be able to gain defence security clearance.
