Role Title: Middleware Administrator
Responsibilities:
Participate as a Middleware administrator (with a primary focus on Oracle Fusion Middleware platform) in establishing infrastructure managed services for the client.
Formulate and submit requests for information related to the implementation and operation of the client’s existing Oracle Fusion Middleware environments.
Review available information and participate in workshops to understand existing Oracle Fusion Middleware platforms in preparation for taking over middleware operations.
Create necessary operations documentation in preparation for service go-live (e.g., System Understanding Documents, Standard Operating Procedures).
Demonstrate readiness for middleware operations go-live in line with the published service establishment plan and schedule.
Perform ongoing “business as usual” Oracle Fusion Middleware operations and administration tasks, including monitoring, health checks, code and config deployment, backups, performance management and tuning, availability management, capacity management, middleware installation and configuration, patching, routine middleware administration and maintenance tasks, incident resolution, service requests, documentation, and security practices.
Collaborate with other administrators and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth operations.
Implement and practice security best practices to ensure compliance with security standards applicable to federal government agencies.
Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Contribute to cloud migration projects and automation initiatives.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware products such as Identity and Access Management, ADF, WebCenter, OSB, and BAM, in on-premises and Azure cloud environments.
Experience working within IT Service Management and ITIL frameworks; existing ITIL v4 certification or obtaining one within 8 weeks is required.
Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments.
Knowledge or experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Java.
Excellent communication skills and ability to produce technical documentation.
Understanding of networking concepts and security protocols.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in teams, with attention to detail.
Additional Requirements:
Security Clearance: Australian Citizens with an active security clearance or eligible to obtain one, due to the sensitive nature of the role.
On-call and Shift Work: Flexibility to work in shifts and be on-call for incident management and after-hours activities.
Work Location: Must be willing to work from Accenture/client office location 3 days a week (2 days WFH).
