We are expanding our power team to meet growing demand and are looking for skilled drillers (HDD) to join our team.
Key requirements:
1. Experience with and JT32, JT20, JT9, and Digitrak Falcon systems.
2. Ability to lead a drill team.
3. Ability to set up drills, plan bore paths, and mix drill mud.
4. Install electrical infrastructure to Western Power standards.
5. Operate vacuum trucks and read BYD plans.
6. Complete construction paperwork (JHA's, dig permits, pre-starts, borelogs).
Must have:
7. Truck Licence (MR to HC).
8. Current First Aid Certificate and CPR.
9. Construction blue/white card.
10. Western Power Cable Laying Ticket (highly regarded).
Advantages:
11. Cert III in Trenchless Technology or Civil Construction.
12. Excavator ticket, Quick Cut Saw, and other relevant plant tickets.
13. Traffic Management BWTM/TC.
14. Western Power specific inductions and qualifications (e.g. substation entry, RIC, Cable laying etc).

Location:
Our main depot is in Bibra Lake, with long term HDD project north of the river. Opportunities are also available for candidates living south of the river.
