Overview
Sime Darby Fleet Services Pty Ltd, with a network of branches across WA, QLD, NSW & VIC, Corefleet supports industry through the provision and maintenance of 'purpose built' vehicles, to safely and reliably mobilise individuals and teams operating in some of Australia\'s most remote locations. We're seeking an Accountant to support our Financial Controller across month-end close, reporting and analysis. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial results, maintaining balance sheet integrity and supporting audits and statutory reporting.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and process journals, accruals and adjustments to support month-end close
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances
* Assist with management reporting, variance analysis and commentary
* Maintain the Fixed Asset Register (additions, transfers, depreciation, audits/stocktakes)
* Support statutory reporting requirements and audit processes
* Contribute to process improvement and documentation
About You
* Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance/Commerce (CPA/CA or working towards is desirable)
* Experience in a similar accounting role, including reconciliations and month-end close
* Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
* Confident communicator who can work with both finance and operational stakeholders
* Experience with Business Central is advantageous
