The role plays a central part in end‑of‑month performance management, budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning, pulling together financial results, operational inputs, and key drivers into a coherent, decision‑ready view for senior leadership. The role partners closely with various areas across the business to ensure alignment between actual performance, forecasts, and strategic plans.
The role plays a critical part in driving performance excellence, leveraging continuous improvement (LEAN) principles, SAP S/4HANA, automation, and effective change management to improve recovery accuracy, reduce leakage, and enhance end‑to‑end process efficiency. The role also works closely with offshore shared service centres to standardise processes, improve data quality, and enable scalable, efficient operations.
What we do at Weir
We are a global leader in mining technology for a sustainable future. We help our customers extract the resources the world needs more efficiently and more sustainably. Our planet’s future depends on the transition to renewable energy, and that transition can only happen with the metals and minerals our customers deliver. So, we work side by side with mines across the globe to move less rock, use less energy, use water wisely, and create less waste. Together, we drive the shift to smart, efficient, and more sustainable mining.
