Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Acquisition
* Drive early-stage client acquisition through proactive networking with strata managers, developers, property professionals, and industry stakeholders.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and referral channels.
* Contribute to the strategic growth of Cohabit's insurance portfolio.
* Build, manage, and nurture a growing portfolio of strata clients.
* Provide expert advice on strata and property insurance solutions tailored to client needs.
* Maintain strong, long‐term client relationships through consistent communication and service excellence.
Policy Placement & Renewals
* Manage renewal cycles, new business submissions, and policy placements efficiently and accurately.
* Provide tailored coverage recommendations aligned with client risk profiles.
* Negotiate competitive terms and outcomes on behalf of clients.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurers and underwriting agencies.
* Collaborate with insurer partners to explore new product opportunities and innovative coverage solutions.
* Stay informed on market trends, appetite changes, and regulatory developments.
About You
* Experience in strata, property, or commercial insurance (preferred).
* Strong relationship‐building and negotiation skills.
* Commercially driven with a proactive approach to business development.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple renewals and submissions.
* Comfortable leveraging technology to improve client outcomes and operational efficiency.
