About the opportunity:
In this fast paced role, you will prepare documentation for building approvals onto the Planning Portal and liaise with the appointed Building Certifier and/or Council to ensure timely lodgement of plans and approvals to support construction commencement. More specifically, your responsibilities include:
•Preparing and coordinating end to end building approval applications, including submissions to Building Certifiers, driveway approvals, water authority approvals, bushfire certificates/reports, and other development specific applications.
•Proactively liaising with authorities and external professionals to obtain required applications and follow up on approval timeframes.
•Collaborating with internal teams to ensure all documents are ready for lodging and ordering.
•Submitting required documentation, preparing management reports, and maintaining accurate forecasts and permit records.
•Performing administrative tasks such as filing, purchasing, and maintaining information in Business Craft and shared drives.
About you:

•Previous experience as a Permit Coordinator in Residential Construction
•Strong administration experience, managing high volume work in a fast-paced environment
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•The ability to work under pressure, managing multiple jobs and prioritising effectively
•Sound knowledge in computer and Microsoft office skills
•Ideally some knowledge of the residential construction industry (building your own home or property management), building materials and supply and co-ordinating trades
