Replacement Year 1/2 Teacher 0.2 (Friday)
St Thomas More School is looking to appoint a 0.2 replacement Early Years teacher to cover a Year 1/2 class each Friday. In addition, there will be opportunities for regular TRT across all year levels throughout the year for those interested.
The successful candidate will join a dedicated and collaborative team of educators, committed to working in partnership with families and caregivers to provide individualised care alongside quality teaching and learning programs, to ensure students are given opportunities to thrive.

About You
We are looking for someone who can develop strong and positive relationships with students and can establish a highly engaging learning environment in and out of the classroom.
To be successful in this role you will have:
· Willingness to actively uphold and contribute to the Catholic ethos of the school, including its Mercy Education Values.
· Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the Australian Curriculum, incorporating contemporary, evidence-based Early Years pedagogies, including explicit teaching.
· Proven ability to collect and maintain comprehensive data and records of student progress and achievement.
· Demonstrated capacity to adapt teaching practices to meet the diverse needs of students.
· Commitment to supporting PBIS strategies to develop the social and emotional wellbeing of all students, fostering personal responsibility and resilience.
· Strong ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and co-educators in a team-based environment.
· Proven ability to build and maintain positive, effective relationships with staff, students, and families.
· Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet required timelines.
