Overview
Bis Industries is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to perform or assist with the preventative maintenance, repair and servicing of BIS / Customer owned mobile plant and longwall equipment while on customer sites or in the BIS workshop as required. Hunter Valley based with travel required, Monday to Thursday or Friday to Sunday. Permanent full-time position with training and development provided.

What You'll Be Doing
* Performing breakdown repairs, scheduled servicing, and preventative maintenance on underground mining equipment
* Diagnosing and rectifying faults to ensure equipment reliability
* Working both underground and on surface to maintain equipment
* Completing all job-related documentation accurately and on time
* Collaborating with site supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations
* Adhering to safety procedures, mine site regulations, and company policies
What We're Looking For
* Heavy Vehicle Trade Certification (Diesel Fitter/Mechanic)
* Demonstrated experience on underground mining equipment (mobile & longwall)
* Current RII DES certification and proven competency
* CP Status (Competent Person)
* Knowledge of mine safety regulations and site compliance
* The ability to work independently and within a team
* Willingness to travel and work in various field locations
