Task & Responsibilities
* Safely securing and protecting cargo to prevent damage or loss during transit.
* Reviewing shipment documentation, inspecting goods, and obtaining delivery confirmations.
* Adhering to workplace health and safety protocols during loading and unloading operations.
* Conducting routine inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and operational safety.
* Assessing load weights to comply with legal limits and achieving balanced weight distribution.
* Positioning vehicles accurately for efficient loading and unloading procedures.
* Operating mechanical lifting and tipping equipment to handle cargo safely and efficiently.
Qualification & Experience
* Relevant qualification and minimum 1-3 years of professional truck driving experience.
* Current Heavy Rigid (HR) or Multi-Combination (MC) driver's license .
* Clean driving history with no significant traffic violations.
* Understanding of load securing techniques and transport regulatory compliance.
* Proficiency in GPS navigation and basic vehicle telematics systems.
