About the Role
The HR Officer plays a key role in supporting Southern Stay's workforce and ensuring that our HR processes reflect our values and compliance obligations.
This full-time position contributes to the delivery of HR services across the organisation, including recruitment, onboarding, employee support, performance management, and learning and development.
Key Responsibilities
* Support managers and staff with practical guidance
* Assist with HR generalist activities
* Maintain a safe, compliant, and positive workplace culture
* Help ensure teams are equipped, engaged, and empowered to deliver high-quality, person-centred services
Required Skills and Qualifications
You have strong knowledge of employment legislation, Modern Awards (SCHADS preferred), and HR policies and practices, ideally within the not-for-profit or community services sector.
