Are you ready to elevate your career? I am looking for a talented Mechanical Project Manager for a full service Engineering Firm with a strong client list and project pipeline across Australia. Work on exciting project design and manage projects for tier 1 clients such as Rio, BHP, etc across AUS and overseas.
Key Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Project Manager you will:
* Management and ownership of multidisciplinary design projects.
* Manage all aspects of the project including progress tracking, planning and scheduling.
* Facilitate and participate in design reviews.
* Support and collaborate with highly skilled designers and engineers to develop designs for a wide range of plant elements.
* Prepare technical engineering documents as part of overall project engineering deliverables.
* Visits to client sites as required.
* Maintain a safety focus through all aspects of work.
Experience
* Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering
* 7+ years of multidisciplinary Project experience
* Exposure to Materials handling design projects, greenfield and brownfield
* Detailed knowledge of materials handling industry
* Excellent organisational, communication, & time management skills
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills, a go-getter attitude
Nice To Have Experience
* Mechanical design experience
* Exposure to multiple commodities including iron ore, gold, copper, lithium, etc
